lol yea no kidding! It's nice outside right now. Unfortunately, I'm supposed to head to Chattanooga tomorrow and it's snowing there.

Spent most of yesterday doing my taxes - owe $4k to feds!

My pay increased significally in May of last year but I never changed my withholdings. I'm such a maroon!

Gonna have to dig out some receipts and find some more deductions. Shut my car business down last year so I had some losses there but not nearly enough.

I bought a new furnace for the house and a laptop for my college kid.
That should help with my tax bill, I hope.

Since my wife retired last year this is the first time we've had to pay Fed. Getting back almost enough from the state to cober the Fed though...

We returned our first foster child Madison this morning to go home with her dad. It was an emotional morning for us. We'd gotten so close to her in the 9 months she's been with us. Here's a pic of me with our girls. Penny (2), Me & Madison (4) on the right.
