Default Wanted

Caught this movie the other night. When it first started, I wasn't sure I was going to be able to hang with it because of the ridiculous chase scene. It turned out to be a pretty cool movie and had a cool ending, even if Mythbusters did prove that you can't "curve" a bullets path.

Here's one of my favorite scenes from the movie although although the keyboard is changed just slightly in this clip.

What was wrong with the chase scene? Don't you know bread trucks are just as fast as Vipers. I thought the entire movie was ridiculous and I couldn't believe I watched it in the first place.

Talking

I did like that scene where he tells her off. More people need the guts to do something like that at times.

I've felt like doing that more than once.

I actually DID do that once; Our boss was a real a-hole and an alcoholic. He was notorious for coming in late because he was hungover. I had planned on quiting that day anyway so when he didn't show up for work that morning I drove to his trailer (he lived in a trailer park) and knocked on the door until he opened it. His jaw hit the floor when he saw me standing there but I surprised him enough that he just apologized for "oversleeping" and said he would be at the office asap.

By the time he got there, I was telling everyone good-bye but he had time to think about it and he burst in the door screaming to me that I was fired so I screamed back and called him an old drunken b****rd (along with a bunch of other names) in front of everyone and was about to grab him when the secretary stopped me (I was friends with her). He ran in his office and called 911 and the police were LITERALLY coming in the front door as I was running out the side door.

I hopped in my truck and left the state (South Carolina) and haven't been back since. There might be an old warrant for me in that state still.

What was really funny were all of the phone calls that I got from former coworkers thanking me for saying what they'd wanted to say for a long time. lol
